Thirsty Thursdays

I'm not sure if this drink qualifies as a beverage or a dessert...?? :) I'm sure everyone reading this has made a Root Beer Float, but there are a couple tricks to making your float perfect!

Sous Chef: All the children today

Recipe: Root Beer Floats

Root Beer
Ice Cream
Cinnamon

NOTE: To create less foam pour root beer first and then add ice cream....to create more foam put ice cream into glass first and then add root beer.

Pour root beer 3/4 full into a tall glass (NOTE: holding the glass at a 45 degree angle as you slowly pour the liquid helps to create less foam). Add desired amount of ice cream (we prefer vanilla). For an extra layer of flavor sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top and serve with a long handled spoon or straw for stirring.

Critiques ~

Megan, Zachary & Amelia: "Good!"

Anna: However, my unique child requested a bowl of ice cream and a glass of root beer...she didn't want them mixed ;)
